This wine has rich almond, plum and mint on the nose, followed by ripe berry, cassis and red currant on the palate.
Good soaking ensures a soft, toasty finish. This is a blend of two noble grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and vinified with minimal intervention in the natural process, allowing each cultivar to express its individual characteristics.
This wine pairs beautifully with rosemary lamb, turkey, rare roast beef or roast chicken.
